After Christmas Sale Haul

I love the after christmas sales, and i love looking for bargains, and i thought i'd share some of the things that i bought.
These are the drugstore make up products that i bought; Collection 2000 Sheer Loose Powder in translucent, Rimmel Scandeleyes Mascara, Maybelline New York Waterproof Shadow Sticks, Maybelline NY Pure Cover Mineral Concealer in Natural, Barry M Nail Paint in Lilac Foil, Barry M Dazzle Dusts ( I don't have the colour names for these), Rimmel Lasting Finish 25 hour Foundation in Ivory, Collection 2000 Lasting Colour Lipsticks, Kate Moss for Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick, and Collection 2000 Lock n Hold Glosses.
Maybelline New York Waterproof Shadow Sticks, from Left to Right; Aquatic Green, Soft Jungle, Satin Dragee and Sweet Bronze. I tested these with water, and the seriously didn't budge, I also wore them for a long period of time in a greasy environment, and they didn't crease at all. These are seriously amazing products, and I love them.
Left to Right; Kate Moss Lipstick in 02, Collection 2000 Lipsticks in; Birthday Suit, BubbleGum, and Valentine. Collection 2000 Glosses in Body Pop, and Rock Steady.

This Studio London Mascara Wardrobe consists of a lengthening, a volumising, and a curling mascara. Also a clear mascara/brow gel, and a pair of eyelash curlers. I'm going to test all of these out for a few days each and review them afterwards and tell you what i think of them all.
My skincare buys; Body Shop Skin Essentials Kits; The Aloe Kit and the Vitamin E Kit, both of these kits have a cleanser, toner, day cream and a night cream. Simply Pure Calming Cleanser, Sanctuary Polishing Hot Cloth Cleanser, Nivea Visage 2 in 1 Cleanser and Toner, Nivea Visage Light Moisturising Day Cream, Nivea Visage Extra Gentle Eye Makeup Remover, and Nivea Visage Refreshing Facial Cleansing Wipes. All of the Nivea Visage Products came together in a gift set.
Hair Products: These were all on 3 for £10 so i thought that i would try out some new haircare products that i wouldn't normally buy. Left to Right; Umberto Giannini Instant Beauty Silky Soft Leave in Conditioner, Umberto Giannini Pure Beauty Shampoo, Umberto Giannini Intense Beauty Conditioner, 2 tubes of James Brown Colour Enhance Shampoo and 1 James Brown Colour Enhance Conditioner.

Finally Body Products:
Left to Right; Natural  Moods Revive Body Wash, Natural Moods Revive Body Lotion, Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel for body and hair, Lush Shower Jellys in Sweetie Pie and Whoosh. I don't buy lush products very often as i see them as quite expensive, however i love the smells of their products, and like to try out different things now and again.
I know this was quite a long post and if you got to the end of this I hope you enjoyed looking at the products that i bought. :-)

A Few Xmas Pressies

This book is full of tips and tricks of the trade, on all of the different aspects of make up, written by professional make up artists, and if full of stunning visuals.
This book by Jemma Kidd, is a great book for anyone, whether you just want to learn how to do your own make up, or whether you want to become a make up artist. She talks about different types of looks; daytime, nighttime etc, as well as which colours suit which skin tones. Although I haven't read the whole of this book yet, I think it's a fantastic book.
This is actually a book that I got for Christmas last year, but thought I'd include it in this post as well, as it's a very good book. It talks about skin types, skin tones, face shapes, and the different elements of make up. Again like the other two books is full of beautiful photographs.

Hi There! :-)

Hi everyone, my name is Lorraine Pidler. I'm 20 years old and live in good old Devon.
In November 2012, I'm going to be doing the Pixiwoo make-up artist course, as my first step towards becoming a make-up artist. I'm a make-upaholic, absolutely addicted to buying it and playing with it. This blog is just a way for me to talk to you about make-up and all things beauty; bath and body products, skin care etc.
So, even though as I'm writing this I don't have any followers of my blog, i hope to soon :-) Enjoy x
